Does anyone watch this show? It comes out on Adult Swim every Sunday night. This show is basically about a metal band and their antics. It pokes fun at the overall metal scene and how people seem to worship celebrities. It just ended its first season and a second season is slated for Fall 2007. Also, AS just brought in the new year by running a Metalocalypse marathon on New Year's Eve (from 10 till dawn). It's a freakin' awesome series. I love all the characters, but I love Pickles and Toki the most.

Indeed, it is. Ooh, I just wonder what the Metalocalypse is gonna be like during the second season. Here's a question:

Are they werewolves? I remember at the end of the banana stickers episode when the psychiatrist is being eaten by the wolves that it's implied that the band turns into something because their eyes start to glow red.

Wierd crap like that happens all the time in that show, like at the end of the episode where they try to learn how to be blues singers, or when their presence causes a bunch of demons to crawl out of Hell in the one where Murderface wants to become religious.

The show is about a metal band foretold by some ancient Sumerian prophecy to bring about the Apocalypse.... that's why it's called Metalocalypse. I think the occsaional bouts of eye-glowing are due to their.... mystical Satany powers.... er... something :\

Actually, that did come to mind. And it does make a lot of sense. Now, the one thing I'm wondering is will the band ever realize what they are?

Pretty much sums up there intelligence. Oh, and throwing beer at a nuclear submarine control panel, oh yah, Einstien right there.

And I think the band's gonna have to have some sort of revelation in the second season. I mean, the title of the finale was "The Metalocalypse has Begun"
