Marking today, is the 1st week waiting for my pics to be approved.

Now that I looked at my 'Pending' pics, they are empty.

I checked my email.

The bounce email said all 5 of 'em were rejected.

All 5 of 'em.

And what's much more pissing off with that is...

The reason of rejection isn't included!

Why did you reject all of it? Not one pic was approved! Now I have to wait another week for my pics to come and the requester are gonna wait and yell at me again! Mad Mad What the hell's wrng with all you Approval Panel?

Here's an example of the e-mail I got.

Your picture Himura Kenshin *lightepsilon39's request* (546356) has been rejected by SH-1574.efc08. Reason:

You're right, this is indeed a bug. The reason for rejection is supposed to be a required field, but I was able to process a rejection without filling it out.

If you have the submission #'s, it is possible for us to review the submission a second time without you having to re-submit it.

From what I can see on #546356, the only reason I can think of is that it closely resembles official art (example). While there's no policy against drawings based on a picture, we do encourage that you try to do something that distinguishes it from the reference used.

It looks like original art? I did it the way the user wants and the pose he wants. And that's what I came up with. So, those are used w/o reference.

So, do I have to send you the submission nos.?

Just now, I re-submit it. And one pic disappeared. And it didn't show up in my gallery. . . . . What's happening?

EDIT: Here are the submission #'s:

546358
546356
546110
546090
546028

Reviewing the submission #'s now.

#546358 (Lloyd Irving) - Scanned pencil artwork colored in Photoshop. Referenced (but not copied) from official art. Word to the wise: Avoid using the phrase "copied from", it tends to be a buzzword for copyright violations. You didn't actually copy the art, you merely drew from it. I'm going to say -- unrejected.

#546356 (Himura Kenshin) - Was re-submitted, processed, and approved some time ago.

#546110 (Kuchiki Byakuya) - Again, it has a striking, but not exact, resemblance to similar works by other artists (compare with this). May have been considered a copy. If this is based on a pencil sketch, you may want to upload the pencil sketch first.

The other two you have already re-submitted, and at this time are still waiting to be processed.

The common theme seems to be that the end result you come up with has a close resemblance to official art and/or similar works by other artists. AP members (myself included) get a little edgy when this happens.

The line art is done with markers, then colored with PS. My Photoshop is messed up, so it messed up the drawing too.
