I don't think it is on toonami right now. Some of Miyazaki's other films are on but not this one, it's too new. I do recomend watching it even if it doesn't follow the book completely. I found it to be full of humor.

I adore this movie. I saw it only a few days ago, and I was in love with all the little Haku lookalikes! (Spirited Away Haku)

Howl is awesome, the storyline is awesome, and Turnip head too for the most part. (Don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen)

I'm definitely buying this, when I find it around town.

I don't agree that it's better than Spirited Away though, it's not as creative with all the creatures and stuff. And there's less humour, I think. Spirited Away wins it in my opinion!

When I saw the trailer for the film, i knew it would be good! and after much grovelling and whining for extra allowance to get the film, i was right!! Howls moving castle is great! and my friends also think so to! Mr. Green
Hayao Miyazaki has done it again. He has created another great film that has both romance and adventure all in one. I just watched it yesterday and it was the best. I won't tell any spoilers but I will say that anyone who loved Spirited Away must buy this film.

To me the best part of the whole film was Calcifer a fire demon who powers the castle. If you have seen it you know what I mean. He's got spark. Laughing
The movie was quite good, but I like the book better. And they changed a few things in the movie.

The book also has a sequel, Castle in the Air. Not quite as good as Howls moving Castle, but still.

One more thing. The book was written by an English author, and yet the film was Japanese. Anyone explain Question

The first time I saw it, it was a rented film. The next day, I went out and bought it. I thought it was a wonderfully crafted storyline and the animation was done very well. Awesome movie imo.

Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again...as well it should be. If you're not sure it's dead, put a bunch more holes in it, should fix the problem...
