I don't think it is on toonami right now. Some of Miyazaki's other films are on but not this one, it's too new. I do recomend watching it even if it doesn't follow the book completely. I found it to be full of humor. _________________

I adore this movie. I saw it only a few days ago, and I was in love with all the little Haku lookalikes! (Spirited Away Haku)
Howl is awesome, the storyline is awesome, and Turnip head too for the most part. (Don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen)
I'm definitely buying this, when I find it around town.
I don't agree that it's better than Spirited Away though, it's not as creative with all the creatures and stuff. And there's less humour, I think. Spirited Away wins it in my opinion! _________________ |

When I saw the trailer for the film, i knew it would be good! and after much grovelling and whining for extra allowance to get the film, i was right!! Howls moving castle is great! and my friends also think so to! _________________ Caffeine Addict since 2006! |
Hayao Miyazaki has done it again. He has created another great film that has both romance and adventure all in one. I just watched it yesterday and it was the best. I won't tell any spoilers but I will say that anyone who loved Spirited Away must buy this film.
To me the best part of the whole film was Calcifer a fire demon who powers the castle. If you have seen it you know what I mean. He's got spark.
YUSS!!!!!! I'm IN LOVE with that mocie! It's one of the best movies ever!! I saw Spirited Away too, and I totally agree with you! If you liked Spirited Away, you MUST see Howl's Moving Castle!! :'D It's such a good movie. <3 Anyways, my favorite part's of the movie are listed below:
1) When Howl's hair turns a diff. colour.
2)When you see Howl's butt <~~~ One of the BEST!!
3)The scarecrow who follows Sophie EVERWHERE! <~~ Funny
4) The old dog who goes BSSH!! <~~~~~~~~ ADORABLE/ FUNNIEST THING EVA!!!! :'D <333>.> But I couldn't help it! 0.o _________________ Song for September: Sakura Drops by Utada Hikaru

The movie was quite good, but I like the book better. And they changed a few things in the movie.
The book also has a sequel, Castle in the Air. Not quite as good as Howls moving Castle, but still.
One more thing. The book was written by an English author, and yet the film was Japanese. Anyone explain |

The first time I saw it, it was a rented film. The next day, I went out and bought it. I thought it was a wonderfully crafted storyline and the animation was done very well. Awesome movie imo. _________________ Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to.
Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again...as well it should be. If you're not sure it's dead, put a bunch more holes in it, should fix the problem... |
