Slow approval of artwork

Is fanart-central busy these days?
Since my artwork, which was submitted two days ago, has still not been approved yet.

The longest wait I've had was 7 or 8 days, the shortest was 4 hours. Pretty much depends on how busy they are, I guess.

you have to wait for a bit more. my art hasnt been approved 4 days ago. but today it showed up =]

You'll have to wait, tons have been asking this question and theres only going to be the same response everytime. The approval panel has lives outside doing that job and plus there has been a way lot of new members that have been joining nonstop and been adding artwork like crazy. Just going to have to wait and keep checking your pending section to see whether it's gone through.
