|

I'm interested in getting this game, but the infamous save glitch is really scaring me off (and I don't have the money for a second memory card right now). I have a few questions that I was wondering if anyone could help with.
-Was the save glitch ever corrected in newer versions of the game? Like, a Greatest Hits release?
-Can the save glitch corrupt files other than Soul Calibur III's?
-If I do get a corruped SC III file, can I delete it off the card with no trouble And will the card still be OK to use?
-I thought I read something about games with growing file sizes that might cause trouble. Would games like Sega Genesis Collection (which allow you to make save states for games, requiring extra space on the card) be a problem?
-I heard a lot of the trouble is in Chronicles of the Sword. Could I get by with not playing that mode too much and still unlock everything?
I also want to ask about the difficulty. I'm not a GREAT fighting game player by any means, and I was wondering if this game might be too hard for me to have fun with. Even on the lowest difficulty setting, is it pretty frustrating? Is there any other fighting game difficulty that this game can be compared to? _________________ Taku Bell: My Art and Games

I don't remember the details of this bug, but I do hear it is caused by deleting other (non-SC3) data from the memory card, and typically only affects the Chronicles of the Sword saved data. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

What ever you do, DO NOT copy the SC3 file onto a second memory card and play vs. mode w/ the custom characters on each copy. My sister and I did that and and we both ended up just starting our files over again because we couldn't load our chronicles of the sword files.
The character creater mode is fun. I actualy made an Ashley from RE4. It was kinda funny to see Ashley weild a sword. _________________ |

Oh, thanks, I never heard that one. Luckily, I only play single player anyway though, so I don't have to worry bout VS mode. ^^;;
Yeah, I'd like to mess around in the character creator too. _________________ Taku Bell: My Art and Games
