Suggestion for Private Messages

I don't check my PM's that often 'cuz I don't get many, so when I DO get one, my reply is often way late. My idea is an e-mail reminder, like you have for comments. You could turn it on and off through your profile, and it wold tell you when you get a new PM.

What do you think? Would it be useful? Or would it just clog up the server or something?

I think (but I could be wrong) we do have an e-mail notification for PM's, but it's been so long since I have even had a reason to look at my profile I could not tell ya for sure. Even then at the moment, we do not have access to the forum profiles to change it so... All I can tell ya is to check the forum header every night when you get on.

E-mail notifications of PM is a forum profile related option. But since the edit forum profile page is (still) down, it's hard to access.
