stippie: Yup. I agree with you about Harry Potter. While they had the bare bones in there, they still twisted it about like sin. And the costumes... wrooonnggg on many accounts. I still like the films, though.

The Da Vinci Code.

I liked neither the book or the movie as the book had an incredibly contreversial plot which was mildly interesting for a while, then it just got old. Plus, I really hated the main character's name. I mean, Langdon? Robert [i]Langdon[/i]? God, I just hated pronouncing it. The characters were un-inspired and while the story retained a certain sense of variety, it didn't hold my interest for very long but I read to the bitter end nonetheless.

The movie... GOD, the movie... I swear, this is the first movie I have [i]ever[/i] actually slept while watching. Man, if I thought the book was bad, the movie was even worse. Looking at the eerie tone set by the beginning, I was expecting a suspense thriller or something to that degree. It wasn't even that. Just conversation after conversation and then ooh!, a puzzle!
