Books published?

Just a question, where do you go or who do you call if you want to get a book you wrote to get published? or SEE if its even worth publishing?

Because I'm writing one -^^-

Finish it first.

Then send it to a publisher. Check around on some websites for things like where to mail it to and what to include with it.

Finish it then get it edited/proofread.

After that, get a publishing agent. A lot of publishers won't even look at a manuscript if you don't have an agent behind it.

also, before you get an agent, you might want to randomly submit small things. it helps to get you noticed and it's good to put a reference from someone down. like contests that you win on writing to small newspapers, magazines, or just in general. hope that helps out too! ^_^

finish your book, then send it to a publisher,and if your wondering if its any good or worth publishing ask your friend(s) if they'll read your story (when its finished,or a some of it) and ask if they liked it or not (its what i did for my book).

You do not need an agant or a full book. I have two books that where published and when I was writing them you get a publisher to read the first few chapters and you tell him the story line and he gets someone to read it and gives you a contract for say one book. An agent will rip you off and does not work for your best interest.
