I think a text limit should also be implemented, but to what maximum? Confused

I don't really mind all those lists, but it irks minutely me if they do it in 'list format,' stretching vertically the page.

Yours isn't so bad. But instead of listing things the way you did you could do it like:

"I'll draw requests from/of Whose Line is it Anyway?, Dogs, Foxes, Wolves, Cats, Fullmetal Alchemist, InuYasha, Gravitation, and Pokemon."

Listing all of your FAC friends is kinda pointless. People can see them in your fans/fan of box.

It is pointless, but since it doesn't take long at all to load, and you don't read it if you don't want to, I don't see a point in restricting that.

You don't see many simplified profiles nowadays on FAC, though. Clean and simple don't appeal to many users, I guess.

Yours really isn't all that bad, there are some people I can think of that are however, I won't post them out of politeness and possibly rules.

I have no idea on the word limit, I just found one with 2,217 words. That is excessive. However, if there were someone who used that many words for somethig useful, which would ba amazing, then it would be fair.

True, true, I agree. Though I figured I'd bring it up, it's one of my biggest pet peeves, aside from excessive profile images and inuyasha/sonic fan chars.

And, goddam that's a lot of pictures. I'd recommend deleting all the ones that are not of Hugh Laurie.

That's an example of an over-abused profile. She needs to get rid of most of the Hugh Laurie and Martin Short pictures.

I say that there shouldn't be wallpapers at all. Wallpapers are for desktops, not profiles.

Great point still, now was there ever a verdict brought to this point i remeber it was started about two months ago, so what are we going to do? Instead of compile data thats already known why not take it right up to the head hanchos?

There is no point continuing to discuss the profile text issue, I have heard all opinions on the matter.

Myspace and geocities built their success on giving people the ability to make horrible horrible design choices -- I don't see why FAC should be any different.

However that said, I will try to find a way to also make happy those who don't like being blinded by ugly profiles and downloading 10mb of inline animated fangirly images.

How about stating the size of the bio section at the top of the bio, so we can see if there is a large profile before we scroll down to find out for ourselves.
