Super Smash Bros. DS?

Well... there hasn't been anything announced. Do you think it will be made and do you think it'll do well?

Masahiro Sakurai has hinted that DS entry is possible.

I think this would be excellent. But it seems Nintendo is focused on Brawl right now so it won't be a while to if they announce Smash Bros DS. And if Nintendo announces their next portable soon, they better wait to make a Smash Bros for that. Wifi of course!

The graphics-I think it should be 3-D and would look better than the N64 version.

Possible controlling-
-Touch the screen and draw a line where you want to perform a Final Smash attack.
-Blow into the microphone to blow the characters and items around.
-D pad-move around-up part to jump and twice to do a double jump.
-Smash attack-A and hold with left, right, up, or down.
-Select- taunt
-Left and right with x-run faster
-A-attack 1 and use items
-B-attack 2
-y-attack 3
-x-throw or grab items
-L and R for shield.

Nintendo is making SSB for the DS? This would be the first I've heard of it.

If you really, really want to play something like SSB then you could always import Jump! Super Stars or Jump! Ultimate Super Stars. uses Shounen Jump characters in a SSB like battle.

But would it incorporate the use of the DS Rumble Pack? That's what I would want to know.

Well, now that could be possible, seeing as Nintendo did an awesome remake of Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo DS.

I'm really hoping they would make one for the DS. I won't like the idea of using the touch-screen to fight, but I am sure it will be a best-seller. All of the predescessers have sold out well enough.

I would hope for fully 3D graphics.

If a DS version does come out and does have Wifi, lets hope it will include head set functionality since there is one for the DS.

I was hoping the smash attacks would be a little closer to the special jutsu attacks in Naruto Ninja Council 3. A list of special moves on the touchscreen and a way to gather energy to use it, like spinning the stylus on a ring as fast as possible or blowing into the mike.

I could totally see this happening eventually. I wouldn't mind a remake of one of the SSB's on another system, but I'd rather see something new.
