I am really want to write a story but I don't know what to write about.Any ideas?

Depends. What do you like to read, what do you like to write about? What are you GOOD at writing?
Fanfiction? Or original work?
Character-based, or more plotline? Historical fiction? Fantasy? Horror? Mystery? It's endless, really.

Um, so what, action/adventure? Mystery? There's still thousands of possibilities.
Personally, I like some fantasy. I don't have to stay tied down with all of the trivial details.

I think if you're writing a story, write one that really interests YOU and not the people in general...if you write a story just for the people you lose contact with the story itself... When I write, I write with my own emotions, and some of my experiences so then I can really describe the story and add details.
I shouldn't be talking though, I really need to spell check and reorganize my stories x.x....What I was basically saying is, write with what you want too...from your own dreams and day dreams, create your own world and expand it..

I've typed this before don't know if anyone put any thought to it but. Do something in the gray of writing like the constellations coming alive and fighting for the best place in the sky in the beginning of time. Stay away from the popular stuff tis far more fun to go for unique things

Because the last Harry Potter book has not long been out, I am able to write a fan fiction of it. Perhaps you could write your own happenings after the last book if you've read it, that is?

Other than that, I mostly like science fiction, fantasy school life and action genres. I HATE romance and mushy stuff... and I'm a woman to boot!

PS: This might be spamming, but I'm afraid I won't be posting my Harry Potter fan fiction here. I just want to keep it for myself... ooh, please say something and I might re-consider Laughing
