Advertising the site?

Since this site is so special... have u guys ever think about advertising the site?

I think it's a pretty good idea... but that's just me...

should we?

As far as I can tell, denis isn't exactly rich.

I've done some experimental advertising.

Never did much because I didn't have any good advertising banners to use. But now with the PS3 contest images I may do some graphical advertising.

Why don't we hold an actual monthly banner contest. winer gets to have their picture used in the banner, and what ever else you want to add to it as a prize, would add an interesting feature to our site.

Yeah that is a good point.....

Just one last annoyance to you though, we go all around the site, find the best of the best art, and smash them all together in one big banner. That would allow for some change every now and then and would also show the site.

Banner size doesn't really fit much art effectively.

Hmm... how about someone makes a video showing FAC's features on puts it on YouTube. That's a free way.

If someone would make a video, I suggest it would look a bit professional. Don't show FAC from a camera looking at a computer screen. Maybe a Powerpoint slideshow?

-History
-Pics and stories
-commenting
-profiles
-registering
-other stuff like forums
-and last maybe a few important things or rules the viewer needs to know before they register on FAC.

If u were wondering I can't make a video cuz I don't got the right programs or a camera. Sorry.

O.K. I'll be honest. Theirs one bad thing about this idea. The videos can be watched by anyone... including sexual predators!!! ugh.

.......nah I don't feel like it. The sexual predator thing would make this too risky to FAC so I give up on the idea.
