What Happened To Yesterday?

It's a bit late by my time, but before I hit the hay for the night I was going to browse through the freshly submitted pictures from earlier today. So I hit the "More..." button for the Last 3 Day's listing and started browsing.

About two page-lengths down I felt dj-vu setting in. Hadn't I seen those titles just the other day when I browsed through the listing?

Attached is a picture of the Last 3 Days' listing fresh from my computer and Netscape 7. I saw the same resuts in IE5, so this is not a browser issue.

Whatever happened to Tuesday the 22nd?

This isn't the first time I've encountered this, but it seems to happen only in the wee hours of morning....

Right on schedule, this glitch occurs again. Ten minutes ago the "Last 3 Days" page showed Sunday-Tuesday's submissions just fine. But now that it's midnight, PST, I get....

As you can see, the "Pictures From Today" has updated to reflect that it's now Thursday, but the "Pictures from Yesterday" has not and shows the submissions from Tuesday instead of Wednesday.

It happens occasionally due to a cache bug. It'll fix itsself on its own in a while.

"Occasionally" as in 12am to at least 2am, Pacific time ? Rolling eyes

I can't say exactly what time it finally kicks in and updates the last two days, because I don't stay up late enough (nor get up early enough) to check :lol:

So it's a cacheing problem . . . that makes much sense. It's as if the "yesterday" and "two days ago" caches don't roll over at the same time as the Today's listing.

Since I'm up late at night on a regular basis, I get to see this occur a lot.
