This applies to American laws, so here it goes:
Is passing out a flyer door to door, on the sidewalks, at public parks, or most other locations legal if no money is involved?
Say the flyer is an informative flyer about global warming and solutions: on it, the flyer describes how to recycle, how to reduce emissions or to switch to solar power, all about the polar bears and the ice caps melting and how to save the earth, or say it was simply about eating healthy and getting exercise; all without selling anything. Just a plain, informative flyer in the name of free speech. What rights do I have? Do they vary from state to state?
What if the flyers have website links that don't take money? |

I can't imagine why it'd be illegal. The only iffy thing might be the door-to-door thing.
Uhhhh and another thing. I can almost guarantee that more than half of those flyers will be trashed or littered instead of read and recycled, so it's somewhat of a step in the wrong direction. _________________ Go Yankees! |

If it isn't, I don't believe it's enforced. _________________ LET ME FIGHT YOUR BEARS |
