one piece v.s. naruto

The Naruto battles during Sasuke's little running away stunt up to but not including the naruto/sasuke fight were great. I'm talking about like... Neji and the spider guy, Lee and Kimimaro, etc. Sasori v. Sakura and Chiyo was good too, but otherwise, the battles in Naruto aren't as fantastic as you make them out to be. The animation in One Piece did suffer a bit in the early days, but after it really got rolling, both the animation and battle.. choreography were vastly above that of Naruto's (and while we're at it.. Bleach).

Are we talking about the waterfall battle? I don't remember things by "seasons." Anyway.. fight? WHAT FIGHT? It was one big emo flashback angstfest. So disappointing. All the other boys had really good fights and then you get to the.. final fight, so to say, and it sucked.

It's called style. Oda can draw realism if he wants to, if you check out some OP artbooks you can find pictures of the characters drawn realistically. He just chooses not to draw that way for his manga and after you get used to the fact that it doesn't like every other shounen manga out there, you realize how awesome it actually is. That and Oda absolutely pwns Kishimoto at backgrounds.

While the artwork in One Piece keeps getting better and better, the artwork of Naruto just... starts looking uglier and uglier.

It's not exactly helping Naruto that it had this huge hundred episode long filler trainwreck in the anime.

hmnm.........I personally really love naruto a lot more, but One piece does have some of the elements to a great anime. Guns, Monsters, and Action. Naruto has more characters, more video games, no medical raindeer, it wins. ^^ Wink

naruto wins hands down it has great voices actors,action,funny moments,and it kiks ass But with one piece luffy sounds like a dying cow its sucks

Naruto totally wins! One Piece is just...*shudder* weird. Naruto battles are way more awesome than One Piece battles! Naruto vs. Neji! Lee vs. Gaara! The Hokage vs. Orchimaru!! Oh! And let's not forget Gaara vs. Naruto! And I haven't even finished the Naruto series yet! I've seen a lot of One Piece. I do like it, but not as good as Naruto. Now, if the issue was to be Pirates vs. Ninjas- Pirates would probably win because of...*drool* Jack Sparrow.
