a chatroom

When Fanart Central gets bigger I suggest a chatroom. Confused

We used to have one. After it was shut down, the chatters migrated over to the forums. Few attempts to bring back chat to FAC haven't worked too well. People here are just more accustomed to forum discussion and when they want to chat, it's mostly on YIM or MSN. I wonder if a server chat could be implemented on each forum page, hmm.

well I havent posted in a great amount of time, but this was being discussed years ago on bringing back chat. its was a disaster, when brought back up it was a disaster, and Im afraid it would be again. it would need stern guidelines and moderation, and frankly (I dont know if this site is still basicly teens) kids dont follow rules, or just want them changed to suit there mood-of-the-day :shrug:

Well, if you haven't already looked at the number of users on FAC, I'd say we qualify and then some.
The thing is, no body would really use it. They would all still just use the comment system or the forums to talk.

No to mention that that kind of thing would be a bit laborious. Confused

I vote no, because there's two ways it would go.

1: The forums would die out from the chatroom
2: The chatroom would not be used because of the forums.

I vote no because, people, what's the point of the chatroom? It'll probably get filled with spammers anyway. Confused
