I have posted a picture but it was rejected for being too large, how do I change the file size?

What kind of file type are you submitting?

If you are submitting a .bmp file you'll never be able to post it, FAC doesn't take bitmap files.
If its another kind of file you should try reducing the image size.
so its not 1255 X 725 or something to that proportion.

windows picture viewer has a good image editing piece but if you can't find or don't have windows image viewer, just google "gimp" and you'll find a program that can get the job done.

It must [b]not[/b] be a bitmap (bmp). If it's a JPEG, JPG, JPE etc. try lowering the quality, or size in pixels.

It's a jpeg file. but how do I alter the the pixels?

In Office picture manager you click the edit pictures button and then click resize.
I've never used Gimp, so just play around with it until you find a resize tool or something.
