HP has always been good on my list. Of course, I haven't had a laptop since I put away my old Compaq Presario 1200 series.

Why not just get a desktop PC instead? |

You should specify for what you will be using it, and whether or not you plan on moving it around a lot. Budget, too. _________________ Go Yankees! |

 | Well I do alot of work with making AMVs and I mainly move it around my house but during the summer I take it camping with me. Also I do have a PC but it is a major piece of crap so I prefer my laptop... My parents are paying for it and budget is not much of a problem |

Toshi and Dell probably best for many...different ranges/processors for different needs...

For gaming, however...I'd go with a heavily loaded desktop with high-end AMD CPU's, fast-as-hell graphics cards (Radeon, GeForce), and polar-ice-cap cooling configurations/set-ups...Powerful laptops (such as A'ware) just generate too much heat when there's serious gaming going on...but that's only my opinion... |
