I've done a fair amount of stuff from scratch with Photoshop. [url=http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-156270.html][u]With the mouse[/u][/url] and [url=http://www.fanart-central.net/pic-438695.html][u]with a tablet[/u][/url].

very cool! (and both of those pictures are awesome by the way)
how would you take a sketch that you've done and make it seem more animated? like, drawing something cartoony but getting rid of how it seems to be a sketch, making the colors more solid and things?

depends what flash is paintshop and image slicing is paintshop.but if you take pictures and want to add effects defintely photoshop cs  |

I'd have to say Paintshop pro
I have the trial and just bought the real thing, it's simpler to use than photoshop for me atleast, not much complications as I used to have with photoshop, but then again it depends on which photohsop you get, If you insist on Photoshop, get Photoshop CS3 |
