Well I could always sell pirated copies of CS3 or something but that is not my cup of tea so..... _________________ RPG-n. So it'd be impossible to make this into a "Pay to Enter" site? _________________ When all things end darkly,

As an admin you can't really do anything like that.
You can't tell your users to click ads for you, or you face a fine of up to 10,000 dollars or something.
Putting them in locations that forces a user to click them, will also get you fined.
the only ones that pay out right, are video ads, because they play when someone hits the page... but that deters users from the site.
BTW, London, I'd say its a good thing that you are less like Brian.
He's a logical guy and all, but negative isn't what I see as comfy. |

It's possible, but who would pay for it? There are a lot of sites like this (deviantart, sheezyart, etc.) that offer the same services for free. _________________ Go Yankees! |

The trick is getting ads that people want to click, in fact I was talking to Denis lastnight, suggesting trying to work out an advertising deal with adobe providing some free trial offers and whatnot. On a site like this one, PL and FuAC it's destine to get hits by the thousands.
How ever neither I nor Denis are very good at that sort of thing and we are kind of at dead end at the moment. _________________ RPG-n. I would not pay to get into some site...Waste of my money.
Couldn't you have products to sell on the site in order to get money? _________________ Gamertag - BabyGurly

I think he means that they have an idea, but aren't exactly sure about how to proceed.
I never realized it existed on my own. Denis mentioned it in that long gone FAC firefox extension chat we had, and that's how I found out. _________________ Go Yankees! |

Lol, I just saw it...
It should get linked from the galleries actually, that way users just passing through would see something and maybe buy it. |
