Oaky, you have to agree to the rules to sign up. You have to agree to folow them with every picture you submit. There's supposed to be mods patrolling the approval queue for violations. So why the heck am I seeing stolen/edited art every time I turn around? I try to report it when I have proof, but more often than not it just stays there. Why aren't the mods catching all of the obviouis violations in the queue? Why do people praise each other for stealing copyrighted material? And why do people insult, flame, and otherwise bash me when I both advise them to take it down (quoting the rules) and give them a chance before I report them? I understand that part of this lies with the honest users, reporting the violations they see, and I understand that some people simply don't understand what the rules mean, but still, the amount of stolen art shouldn't be at this level!
What's wrong with trying to give people a chance? Why do people get on my case for actually following the rules they choose to blatently ignore? |

No one likes to admit they've broke the rules, and most times, the friends of that person will help them not you.
If you find proof of stolen art, don't tell the person holding the art, just bring your claim to a mod or the admin.
if you suspect the art of being stolen, meaning you do not have proof, then take the claim to the artist abuse assistance form. |

- the person has auto approval and the AP never sees it, or whoever approved it didn't recognize it as stolen.
Why do people praise each other for stealing copyrighted material?
- the people doing the praising don't recognize it as stolen or haven't read the rules themselves.
And why do people insult, flame, and otherwise bash me when I both advise them to take it down (quoting the rules) and give them a chance before I report them?
- they're dumbfcuks. _________________ Go Yankees! |

All of the obvious violations in the queue are caught, however not every image on the site goes threw the approval queue. If you have proof of copyright violations you can PM them to me and I will deal with them.
If you do not have proof but know or have strong inclination that an image is a copyright Violation you can request assistance on the forums linked below:

Before making posts in that forum make sure to thoroughly read the announcements and stikied threads linked below:

.
Ok, so basically I'll stop giving newbies a chance and just start reporting every one I see as soon as I have proof. |

Yup.
Hey, the rules are there on entry, full page, and are also there every time you submit a fan work.
It is automatically implied that they know the rules. |

Yes, leave it to the Abuse Team to give chances, Unfocused, Strata and I can't moneter them if we don't know who they are and what they are submitting, nore can we take any action if they delete the evidence before we see it. _________________ RPG-n.
