Rules: Serious Discussion ONLY

I don't remember whatever happened to the original pinned rules thread, so here we go again.

1. Forum Purpose: The "Life Assistance" forum is a place to talk about and seek advice with personal issues, a place to share one's troubles with the world and receive support or advice from other users. While we are not a "support group" per sé, simply bringing one's problems to light and talking about them can sometimes be enough to help resolve them.
   
   
2. Rules on Conduct:
   
   These are really part of the forum rules as a whole, but for the sake of emphasis they bear repeating:
   
   - There is to be absolutely NO SPAMMING of topics. No off-topic posts or mindless side comments that distract from the issue being discussed. This place is for serious discussion only, anything else will be subject to closure, deletion, or extradition to Random without warning.
   
   - Absolutely, positively, NO FLAMING OR HARASSING the original poster of a topic (or anyone else, for that matter). No personal attacks, no name-calling, no threats of violence (or death threats), no recommendations of suicide, etc. Again, if you have nothing to contribute seriously to a topic, don't go making yourself look like an ass by distracting from it.
