Email Problem

In the past, I've gotten email notices saying that I got a reply on a person's profile. But in the past couple of weeks I haven't gotten those notices, instead I have to go back to that person's profile to see their reply.

I haven't seen anyone else post this question, so it may be just me having this problem, I'm not sure. Is there a cause to this? Confused

I'm not %100 sure on this one.
But, I believe there is a bug in the comment system...

It should be fixed soon, I wouldn't know whats caused it, I was the one that last worked on those systems, and I made no changes to show for that.

I've gotten a few of those myself, though.
Bleeding sessions, duplicate CID's, Denis?

probebly an email to you bounced and your email invalidated.

People should be able to see their validated flag on their profile somewhere.

Then this thing isn't a real set problem, it just comes and goes?

Would this have anything to do with users passwords up and deleting themselves?

I never see anything on site regarding that after I've seen the "ghost" email.

Ghost email is from deleted comments.

No comment emails is from email invalidation from bounces (usually mailbox full)

I remember addressing the reply/block issue with deleted comments -- that should cut down on "ghost" e-mails in the future.

Okay, so I left a comment on one of my own pictures earlier to test, and it's been a few hours and I haven't gotten an email alert. My inbox is nowhere near full, it's not in spam, and I got an email alert just two days ago so I'm guessing.. it's something pretty recent and the issue is on your side, not the user's?
