Adding artist error.

so i tried to fave someone and this popped up

Not sure what's causing this problem -- the faving works, it's the e-mail notification that doesn't. It appears related to this user not having a validated e-mail address.

On a potentially related note, the user's profile page is also displaying an error. (?)

i got a similar error on a users page but it was still added

A blank error like that is very strange. Normally there should be some text after "Database Error:" that would say what the problem actually is in a way that we can debug it.

it is very strange, line 2046 relates back to stories notifications, not a new faved notification.

BTW, the brackets have been added to user_favorite_add
I had added them the if once before but my revision shows that they are still gone.
