MAXIUMN OVERDRIVE: NEGATIVE
-The story board is so lame, it just makes me hate the movie.
-The way the movie looks is fake, but it was made in the 80's.
-There is no point of it really. It's short, it looks horrible, there is no story that makes since or anything.
MAXIUMN OVERDRIVE: POSITIVE
-One of my favorite actors star in it.
-When the kid gets ran over it was so funny.
lol, that movie did suck. Sentient cars...
PLEASE...
Did have a good soundtrack, though. AC/DC. _________________ www.redwall.org www.raiders.com

Dragon Wars: D-Wars
I'm not entirely sure if it was serious, or if it was intended for comedy, like Snakes on a Plane. However, that doesn't excuse it. For one thing, it made no sense. Starts out with this reporter (supposedly thought to be hot and sexy??) who investigates a story about an explosion. But it's not just an explosion! There's an artifact in the dirt (how did he get past the police lines?!), and he's seen it before!
Flashback to 15 yrs ago! He's in Jack's Antique Store, and as all small children are prone to do, he touches something he's not supposed to. Jack, the old guy, has a heart attack, and reporter-guy's dad rushes to the herb shop. Then everything's fine, and Jack tells a story of Korea 500 years before. Basically, dragons need the Suiyjo(????) and it's bestowed to one person on Earth. Girl gets the power, destined for sacrifice, guy falls in love with her. Cliche much? Tehn the dark armies of the Battai (???) attack so the dark dragon can get it. Guy runs away with girl, they die so they can be in love forever.
500 years later in Los Angeles(????), they're reborn into Sarah and Reporter-guy. Turns out Jack is really the Guy's trainer from Korea, who's been living since then, and looks like George Clooney... And he tells him of his quest: Kill Sarah so the good dragon can finally get to Heaven and make the world a better place, then he gives young Reporter-guy a pendant.
Remember the explosion? It's actually the bad Imoogi thingy!!! (Only becomes a dragon with the Suiyjo). So the evil forces are all, "We're looking for the girl with the mark of the Red Dragon! Rarg!!!" and they find her. But she gets away. Then they catch her and Reporter-guy and they get away again. Then they're on top of a building getting into a helicopter. They're going to get away, but no. The bad Imoogi catches them, and somehow a multi-ton reptile can't bring down a helicopter. So they fall to the ground and get away in a car. Then somewhere out of town, they're flipped over several times, and live!
Now the best part: the sacrifice of Sarah takes place outside of Isengard!! Which is near Los Angeles?
So Reporter-guy is tied up. Sarah is on sacrificial table. Dramatic timing=time for Reporter-Guy's pendant to erupt into blue flame and kill all the enemies, in a fashion similar to Sauron's demise. But mysteriously, he's still tied up, even though his chest erupted into flame...
Then the good Imoogi shows up, Sarah goes all noble and let's herself go, so the good Imoogi can become a good dragon. Epic battle between the dragon and the bad Imoogi. Dragon wins, goes into the sky, Sarah's Asian apparition tells reporter-guy they'll be together again, and he's left in the desolate wasteland next to Isengard....
Sorry I got so specific, but dammit! It made me angry! And I laughed, and loved poking fun at it. |
Well....it all depends on what you mean by 'worst'.
I've seen many movies that had no real plot, ones that were very inaccurate, etc.
So I'll explain:
- The Day After Tomorrow
All the weather events that happened in this movie...were very incorrect. Also, the fact that these men were in minus 20 celcius with their full gear on and still freezing - a bit of a stretch. Then when it got to minus 40, they had no gloves on and their faces weren't covered.
- Hostel
Pretty lame overall.
- Dead Alive
I realize this is a B horror movie, but it's just so lame that it isn't even funny =/
Then there was this one I went to in the theatre with my friend...all I remember is that it had a lot of fart jokes. The movie was so boring I can't even remember the title =/
I know! I hated the Day after Tomorrow! Ir was so inaccurate! I had to watch it in science class, and It was torture! Yuck! |

Yuck,.... I'll say " The Gate"
you guys probably never saw it before, but it is DOWN RIGHT HORRIBLE!
It was totally pointless! Ugh! The plot and EVEVRYTHING was horrible!
I mostly dislike movies from the 80's.. I only like 80's cartoons.. and perhaps I like some movies from the 80's...
I'm also not a very big fan of Narnia, evevrybodys like " OMG! NARNIA ROCKS!" I just don't like... it's just like all those typical movie versions of children's book..
I also HATE the cheetah girls! Worst plot ever! I dislike High School Musical too! >.< I also hate the boring movies we watch in school... |

The Fountain: At the end, while very pretty, was too freaking confusing at most times to allow me to figure out what I was watching much less why I was still in the movie theatre and I still hadn't asked for my money back. Good story, poor execution.
Dragon Wars: (Cthatya posted this before, see? I'm not alone xD)
Terrible acting, terrible animation, terrible plot line, terrible everything. I'm pretty open minded about movies, and I'll watch pretty much anything. But after walking out, I felt like a little part of my brain had withered up and died. It was like they said "hey, this would be cool" and threw it up without a plan. _________________ Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to.
Trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again...as well it should be. If you're not sure it's dead, put a bunch more holes in it, should fix the problem... |

about D-Wars...
First:where did the bad dragon army come from in the FIRST place!? And where did they go AFTER the over extended battle scene? And how did the army narrow it down to the dragon chick to being the culprit in the first place, much less get an army force to the city to attack the dragon army in time? And i forgot how the general dude was killed by the some-how-sword-weilding reporter guy near the end of the film, and where the hell was the good lizard during the whole movie? The part where the army guys were whipped out at the cave was incredibly, Saterday-power-rangers-death lame and dumb. It would have been ok if the director had thought through a bit more, but he didn't...
And Transformers...
It's a good mvoie, don't get me wrong, but Mr. Bay was really pushing it, and I mean, REALY pushing it.
1. 50% humans and robots-you get exactly the same amount of humans and transformers, but that, together, makes it look lame. the robot's should have the spot light because it's called TRANSFORMERS
2.boring begining-lame kid with ugly car, trying to get a hot chick, yadda yadda yadda (and how did Bumblebee know that Sam wanted to score the chick?)
3.sudden bad guys-the bad guys didn't appear until the end of the movie and so thus, none of the Desepticons got much of a story line for themselves. If one was looking at Transformers for the first time in their lives, they would be pretty much blinking in surprise on the couch and wondering "Huh? Who are those dudes again?". (and why did the bad guys switch to human speak all of a sudden? When Starscream and Megatron speak the ONLY 2 LINES IN THE WHOLE MOVIE?)
4.civillian stupidity-a bunch of "asteroids land on Earth and no one notices. How can humans NOT notice a bunch of giant robots kicking each others butts in NYC!? How is the goverment going to cover up THAT? Bay better have a good thing in T2 to cover his butt this time, folks.
5.Does anyone else remember the old guy in the test facility? When they're checking out the little cell phone robot? Who was he? Yeah, Dead End Character! And those other 3 robots at the end of the film, brough to life via the Cube:Ps2, the SUV, and the Mountain Dew machine:where are all these boys going to?
and finally...
6.WHERE THE HELL WERE SAM'S PARENTS IN ALL OF THIS!?
The things that saved this movie from being a totaly crap pile are...
1.original transformers fans (and their now-strangled hopes)
2.awesome action sequences (how ever brief they were)
3.superior speacil effects (it's NOT easy to make a giant transforming alien robot appear on screen, folks)
4.famous actors
And one particular peeve I have about the movie...
Too much trumpet music. These are futuristic robots! Save the war-and-trumpet music for Troy movies and kick in some rock, mister!

Just wanted to point out the fact that first, it's Steven SPIELBERG, not SPEILSBURG. Secondly, Transformers wasn't directed by Spielberg in the first place-- Michael Bay directed it. The same man that directed Pearl Harbor and Armageddon. (Might want to get your facts straight and do some research before you yell at the wrong guy ) _________________ Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you're up to.

I totally agree about D-wars. It was retarded. I'm usually optimistic about movies, but that's the only movie that's made me cringe. And, not in a good way. The whole movie, I wanted to burst out laughing. And, honestly, the main dragon, it didn't have legs. Last time I checked, dragons have legs. Even the dragons from asian mythology had little legs! It was like a giant snake.
The Grudge 2: No plot, just a bunch of chicks getting murdered by creepy ghosts. Not like the first one at all... The end, I was like, what? That's it?....Okay... _________________ |

Mortal Kombat: Anihilation. I'm a HUGE MK fanboy, but this movie is just awful.
- I hate how they killed Jonny Cage like ten minutes into the movie.
- Bad acting. Especialy from the actress who played Sindel. Anyone who has seen the movie knows what line I'm talking about.
- The fight scenes are too short.
- Bad CGI. Lets just say Star Wars episode IV had better CGI than this. Okay, that was a little harsh, but I hope it gets my point across.
This could have been a good movie if they put more time and thought into it. It wouldn't have hurt if they used more of their budget for better CGI and better actors. |
