Age progression art, (taking a known character and making them older yada yada) If the progression work makes them older than they would appear in any point in the show it is derived from it would constitute an OC derivative of an existing character, correct?

IMHO it should still be considered as a fanart of the existing character. (Similar question: If someone depicts an existing character as an animal or furry, does that modification count as being a fan-character?)

The term "fan character" is generally used for self-insertions and [i]completely[/i] artist-made creations drawn relative to the given canon.

Yeah that is kinda what I thought, I had seen it stated to be OC elsewhere, just figured I would ask and put my mind to bed.
