Crying or Very sad i deleted some of my stories before but not the problem the problem is that when i submit chapters now an error comes up. i use a microsoft word doc when i submit my stories. i upload them from my comp and that doesnt work. i used to upload them before and it used to work but now it doesnt. can someone help?? Crying or Very sad

Right, so I tested this bug and all works out.

If you are submitting a document saved from Microsoft Office 2007, you must make sure that you save it as a "Word 97-2003 Document" otherwise you may get an error.

If so, this may be the cause of the libraries on the server not being able to process some parts of the newer MS Office Word documents.

Some more info would be nice, though.
What version of Microsoft Office are you using, and what was the error you saw?
(Copy and paste, or take a screen shot, of [b]ALL[/b] of it .)

if its what Sora said then theres no problem here ya just need more info (i get that every now and then) but if its something different more info would be helpful.

Office 2k7 format won't work at all. MS changed the format completely and very little supports it.

yeah, im having the same problem, it wont let me submit any more chapetrs to my story. te error looke like this:

If you are using the new version of MS Office, you must "Save As" your document to the old 97-2003 compatible document type. After you've saved it as the old version it should work fine for uploads.

If not, then something else is wrong and you'll have to submit your chapters with either the BBcode or the Java editor.
