Sounds stupid. I know.
Okay, so you know the water dungeon boss in Twilight Princess? The one that looks like a sea serpent, and you have to repeatedly stab it in the eye on top of its head to kill it?
Well, I was watching Beowulf, the recent movie that came out. There is a sea monster which bears a striking resemblance to the one in the Zelda game. And Beowulf kills it just like Link did in the game -- stabbing the eye on top of its head. And both are killed while underwater.
Both monsters look very similar to one another, and they are both killed in the same way.
Do you think that this is merely a coincidence? |

Coincidence.
The original Old English poem had no sea monster, that was an addition for the film. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

That's what I was thinking too. From the story, like you said, it had no sea monster.
But the resemblance to both monsters is amazing, though. |
