not many people are here now and it's pretty slow up in hea! i think deviantART is more popular now. lots more things to do there than here^^

I guess a site is what you make it. If you do a lot of interesting things, it might become a more interesting community for you.

I'm sticking with this site, even if the forums seem boring at times. I like it a lot nowadays. As for making it intresting enough... I dunno. Perhaps, Stratadrake-sama, you could think of something and see what FAC thinks of it?

If we do ask a question no one ever says anything.

Not to mention that no one else really requests any changes, they'd rather complain and not offer any helpful advise as to how the system should be changed.

Why don't we build a poll thing for the front page so more people can see and vote on what they think should be done.
Least that way we get more of a user opinion on things.

I remember suggestiong that one a long time ago. But first, pictures need a column for counting the total # of votes so it can be a sort order (as opposed to a pgsql count() ).

Back to the topic, I think that the voting system would be a good thing to implement. That way we can see what everyone likes to see executed and carried out on FAC.

It'll be much better though if our submittions weren't delayed so much. I know how they have to check it through and it takes time, but it's a bit long of a wait. Also, were only limited to three submittions each day. Confused

That's for technical reasons. I don't think they're going to change that.

The technical reasoning behind it is that there is a lot of information on the database.
Part of the wait time you experience is because of that, along with the constant access to the site by its users/surfers.

It's sad to think about it, but I think the database server needs another update... Confused

Either that or we finally take the site off-line for a day (or two) backup the database and dump all the old records that aren't needed.
