I don't like the shortened sideburns at all and I think the hair still needs help.

I should prolly give him some sleeves too but...

First off, dear god those eyes. Spread them apart please.

Anyway, you need to make the goatee and the skin work together. As it is right now, it looks like the hair is pasted on his chin in a clump, rather than growing out of it.

And ignoring all that, your anatomy has some funky things going on, mostly in the arms. Muscles do not do the overlapping thing unless the guy has SUPERBULKY arms, which he does not (and even so, do consider muscle placement- the placement is wrong as it is). The elbows are just kind of a misguided mesh between the upper and forearms. There is a joint there, even if it's not really visible from this angle. The shoulders are also a bit low.

This sucks, but it may help.

I agree with bishielover75: those eyes look goddamn awful, even for an anime character! Place them further apart, please, but not too further apart that they look like they're going into the sides of the face, okay? Also, the hair. Lose the sideburns altogether... it ruins the tough guy image that Konohamaru seems to have. Make his hair shorter, more to the neck, as well as make it look a little floppier- it looks stiff to me. The anatomy looks fine, though, although on the left hand side (as we see it), the right arm looks way too long.

Sorry if I was being harsh.

For the back view, the spiral needs to be moved to the right a bit, and the pockets on his vest shouldn't be so...uh.. angled, I guess.

Added the weapons.. pouch thing. It seems kinda weird that you gave him different shoes. While some ninjas do have outfit variations, the sandals seem pretty standard.

I also edited the face to show you were the eyes should go.. but somehow all the facial hair and the headband caused it to morph into Solid Snake fanart.

I'm not ignoring you guys, I just haven't had an opportunity to do a redraw.

Joou, Do you have any advice on how to accomplish the facial hair wile still maintaining sarutobis goatee, I know I boched the angle of it but there has got to be more to it than that. Anatomy is hit and miss with me, I can do it on some days and totally bomb it on others, and muscle placement kills me a lot, as all I have to work with is an old medical book. It is not the easiest thing to see and differentiate the different muscles in so I screw them up repeatedly. As for the elbow I was trying to reduce the appearance of it intentionally but over did it.

Jedi, I don't want to drop the side burns. There is a reason for this, Doing so would have him looking like nothing more than a mirror image of his grandfather at that age. I can change them or do something different with them but I want them to remain. As for his hair With out knowing what his parents looked like I am shooting in the dark, I am sort of working on assumptions based on what I have read about Konohamaru and the thought process during his creation as well as what I know from what I have seen thus far in the series. On top of all that Hair has always been a problem aria for me, not as much as hands and feet but still problematic. I see what you mean about the arm, I know how that happened and will fix that on the next one.

London, In all honesty the tool pouch is irrelevant as I won't be using it in the finalized use of these this char design but thanks any how. As for his shoes....I can't draw toes to save my life, I took a short cut and gave him a halfassed pair of boots.... I was hoping no one would notice Sad

Thanks for the position of the eyes, half of why they keep ending up so close to the nose is my fear of ending up on the side of the head witch has destroyed many of my face attempts in the past.

Thanks for getting back to us. Once again, apologies if I sounded harsh on my critique. I can't wait to see what the re-draw would be like. About the side-burns... umm... I guess you can keep them, I don't mind... much.

Sideburns aren't really a problem. It's just that the ones you've drawn are pretty large and.. chunky. Try drawing a bunch of individual hairs instead of one large clump of hair, which should ease the "pasted" on look.

Well I drew this one of hos face before comming in to work tonight, (before I saw the resopnces) I made some subtle changes in the side burns and did a copy with out the goatee.

Looks a lot better without the goatee. If you want to give him some form of facial hair, maybe make it smaller and lighter, like Holland from E7's beard.

It's worth a shot, I have to figure out something with it. Everyone is saying the same thing about him looking better with out it, and I can see what they are saying, but I feel he looks to young for what I am looking to achieve.

I have got to do something different with his hair, now that I have some base color into it he looks like Kiba.
