I'm having issues uploading avatars. It keeps coming up as Error: Resize error. I thought "oh maybe it's just the icon I wanted to upload" so i put in a new one...still didn't work.....SO I put in the one I used to have before my current one. Still did not work. Always the same. Is it just me or is this a well known problem?

It might be a bug.

If its a "Gif" file make sure its 50x50.

But why is it causeing now. Previous avatars that worked not a month ago no longer work. If I could I would switch to an old one but they are getting the error.

Firehead, that's not necessary true.

I'm just trying to upload a simple icon. I went back to try and put the icon I [b]just[/b] took off today and that won't work now either. So I'm left with nothing. I know the size isn't off because these icons have worked before....

Upload it to some image host like imageshack or photobucket. Type this:

[im[i][/i]g]picture-address-here[/im[i][/i]g]

Then copy and paste the picture's address into the code. Hit submit.

Meaning, post a screenshot.

Do this:

1. Whenever you try to upload the avatar and it messes up, first thing you need to do is press the Print Screen button. It's on your keyboard. FIND IT.

2. Open up the program, Microsoft Paint, go to Edit.

3. Press Paste.

4. Save the file in a place where you would find it.

5. Go to a photo-hosting website like www.Photobucket.com (If you don't have an account, sign up. It's free.)

6. Click Browse. Choose the file of the screenshot. Upload the image onto the site.

7. Click the newly-uploaded image.

8. You see where it says "IMG Code - Forums and Bulletin Boards"? Highlight the code in the box, and Copy it.

9. Paste it into this thread.

10. Submit.

You're done.

Did you even [i]attempt[/i] to make a screenshot?

Putting a screenshot up can help a problem get solved faster because it gives the staff something to look at of what needs to be fixed. Seeing is believing, so putting up screenshots of any problems people have can get them fixed.

Laziness isn't going to solve anything.

Well, keep in mind, I would look into it, but some one broke the register page on beta and now i can't attempt it.
