"No Picture Uploaded"

Apologies if this doesn't belong, but...

I choose my file to upload, then it says "No Picture Uploaded" when the page loads. I don't know what I'm doing, but can someone help?

Please make sure the file you are uploading is an actual image file.
You must also make sure the path to the file on your computer is correct.

You can't use URL links for pictures, either.
Please let us know what kind of file your uploading, too.

Does anybody even use the URL uplinking feature any more? I swear we're the only site that even allows it.

I don't see why more people don't use it. I've never had a problem with it.

Um... I'm trying to upload a file from paint and I'm having this problem. What program do I have to transfer the picture to, if any, or what file type do I have to save the picture as?

Please can I have a swift reply because I really enjoy using this site and I want to contribute some of my photos.

You can't upload photos to FAC. Try here instead: http://www.photo-lucidity.com/

If you're using paint, save as a PNG.

When I said photo i meant a picture I had scanned.

I converted the files to PNG's as advised but I'm having the same problem as before. Please help!

What is your internet connection speed?

If you are on a Dial-up connection, you will need to make the file smaller.
So saving it as a JPG, or resizing the image may help.

I'm going to try every different file type I can and se which one works.

Good Idea but No website!

Anyway call off the search! I converted files to jpg and it worked! Pending approval! Thanks for all your help!

Crap... now the actual pictures submissions are broken too....

Yup its the server. It all worked before the move, now it doesn't.

I haven't really heard much about that either. in fact, I believe its only on two occasions.

We do support .png though right?
