worst anime voice overs

Shute's voice from SD Gundam Force. I mean, [i]come on,[/i] the Japanese seiyuu's (sp?) voice was [i]a lot[/i] fiercer and more spirited, like Shute.

And also the Naruto voice actors. These kids are like 12 years old and they sound like they're in their thirties.
I used to like the Naruto series back in the day but it's lost it's appeal and Death Note isn't doing much better.

well i have already seen the whole series to them, once you get up to shippudden though the voices tend to fit a little better.

I always thought the Japanese voices for Naruto were fine. I remember liking Sakura's english voice; don't remember how the other voices sounded.

Death Note voices are massive fail in both languages.

I dunno about the TV series, but the FMA movie dubs sucked.
The reason i don't know about the TV series is i watched it with subs.
But i loved the sub version.

Naruto is played by an OLD FRIGGIAN WOMAN!! >_<; And Sakura sounds like a whiny 5 year old.

The guy who voiced Shuichi Shindou in Gravitation in the English version. He didn't really "get" into his character. The original Japanese voice-over was better.

Agreed. I think Tenten's voice actually had an improvment. majorly.

I dont like the english voice for Misa Amane, from death note, it seems that she's trying to hard to be perky!

DBZ wasn't great. But if you consider that it only had like 2 voice actors to cover most of the characters, then I guess it was OK.
Sailor Moon had infamously terrible dubbing, especially that of the main character.
A lot of people think both Fruits Basket and Love Hina were dubbed terribly, but I disagree...
What else...
Misa from Death Note...
Pokemon, Naruto and One Piece are full of characters that do nothing but scream...
Um...
A lot of voice actors have to speak really fast or really slow at different times to match the lip flaps, I'm thinking specifically of Cardcaptor Sakura.
And I hate when anime dubbers ignore when a character is supposed to have a foreign accent (think Momiji from Fruits Basket or Pudding/Kikki from TMM)
That's my thoughts on the subject, now it's time for margaritas!!!

Steven Bloom played Gale from DDS iirc, and he was fitting as hell for that role. He was one of those people who didn't enunciate his "I" enough when beginning a sentence though, so it tended to sound just like "--Do not comprehend." lol.

The Naruto dub didn't do it for me after watching half the series online subbed. It kinda sucked, though I can't complain about Naruto sounding whiney in the English version, 'cause he's just as bad in the japanese version. Though you don't hear "Believe it!" in every episode....but it's better now...
I like the Death Note dub, but Mello's voice seems to deep. I haven't heard the Japanese version though. Misa is fricking annoying. But I just the English voice actor of Light can pull off Light's famous psycho laugh in the last episode.

The anime series was hardly even like the manga, so I have nothing to say about that.
