The anime was good... just a little too short. They should have waited for the other manga volumes, or something. The manga version is tons better, though, as it is more descriptive... I think. But the Japanese voices used for the anime were cute. I liked Shigure's especially.

I love fruits basket, both the manga and anime =)
I first read 1 or 2 manga volumes at the library, and being curious, i bought the anime collection. It was really great, and is still my top favorite series. i was upset that they didn't make another season though. so thats what brought me back to the manga. Now, I think i like the manga alot more. the artwork is fantasic and beautiful, and the character development keeps me really interested. the mix of humour, romance, and even dark aspects makes it a really in depth story, with just the right balance. My favorite character is defiantly KYO!! aww i luv how he acts all tough on the outside, but he is such a sweet guy inside =) i love the romance moments between kyo and tohru.
