Japan setting vs. American

I'd rather the Japanese settings (not just because of the fact that I'm Japanese). it does make it more traditional--a lot of animes are located in Tokyo or Kyoto. My absolute favorite is Feudal Japan, though.

japanese because they dont edit out the cursing and stuff because we all know kids curse. plus i think they sound better in japanese.

That's a tough one. Probably the Japanese one, but really, the best setting is the original. But the former doesn't cut out all the good scenes like US ones do, but I have a feeling that they're also really exaggerated.

One of the awesome things about Gunsmith Cats is it's set in Chicago. I found it a welcome change from all the other Manga I read that was set in Japan [and I was 10 at that time, LOL]
