I seem to be really late to this thread, but my two favorite comics (in terms of appearence) are Ghost Rider: Trail of Tears and India Authentic: The Book of Shiva.

See that? That's how the entire book is. Clayton Crain knows [i]exactly[/i] what he's doing.
The man also knows how to use color extremely effectively as well.

Sadly, this is the only one of the god-centric India Authentics I have, I'm really hoping the others are similar in style.
There are a few pencilists and colorists working together on this one, but the results are stunning. |

Comic book art has always, always inspired me, how they color and ink the drawings are incredible! My favorites: Mark Ryan and Manuel Garcia. And cover artist Mike Mayhew, though he's not very comic-ish.
