Why do I need to validate my email? I did it 5 times, but the notice still say "You can't comment 'til you validate your email." And it's taking forever to get a new one.

I hate this crap! Evil or Very Mad

Did you click the link in the email sent to you by the site?

If not you need to. Also, make sure the email address is entered correctly. If it isn't then you may not be able to validate.

It's not that hard.

And email validation required is a pretty standard requirement of pretty much any site. It keeps down the trolls and spammers some.

I corrected now, but nothing happens.

I've waited for 5-10 minutes, but still, nothing happens!

I wish that FAC did not added a validate option. Crying or Very sad

Your loss. As already stated, validation e-mails are a staple of most registration processes these days, FAC is no exception.

Moderators cannot override e-mail validation, so for starters check your spam folder.

With big email providers like Yahoo, MSN, gmail, etc it may take several minutes for your validation email to arrive. With smaller ones it will usually be pretty much instantly.
