|

You've probably been in game stores long ago, completely ignoring a certain game title (until now), or perhaps you wait for the price to go down, or you read about a really great game you thought you never heard about before, only to go to every game store in town after reading about how good it is, and not being able to get that game. Grrr, if only you got it sooner.
So, anyone want to mention any games that you wish you had gotten, but can't find anywhere now?
I'll begin: One game (or rather, first three in the series) I wish I had gotten would be the original Spyro the Dragon games. I guess when they first came out, I wasn't all that interested in dragons, or the graphics didn't appeal to me much. But after reading about how good the games were in Internet reviews, I wanted to try out the games myself. I saw one of them at the mall, but when I got there the next time I went to town, of course it would no longer be there...oh well. |

Try used games stores / ebay?
Most older games you can find online through.. not so legal methods that I won't speak of further. _________________ Go Yankees! |

Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence Special Edition.
I was going to buy it based on the awesome boxart, but I didn't. Now its worth $150-$200 used, and over $300 new. _________________ |

I was wanting to buy LoZ Twilight Princess for GameCube when it first came out, but when I went back to Wal-Mart to buy it, they were sold out. I eventually got it as a birthday present. |

Magna Carta.
I waited on that game for over a year, then, when it came out. I never bought it. Now, I can't find it. |

There's another game I wanted, and hadn't heard of until I got the second in the series (or duo, at this time), and that is the first Golden Sun for the Game Boy Advance. I'm sure there's other games that I wanted that have escaped my memory at the moment. If I remember them I'll add 'em later. |

I'll sell you the special edition for $15 if you want it. _________________ |

Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. I loved the PS2 version, and now I want the Wii version. However, considering there's no video game stores where I live, this is going to be one hard game to find. And I can't use online stores. |

It's a good game, but I don't see the point of having a copy for another console. How did you manage to get a PS2 and the PS2 version if you can't find a game as common as that one?

Wii RE4 is shit. Seriously not worth $15. Control Scheme is horrible, and Merenries mode just isn't fun anymore. _________________ |

I wish I could've gotten the Sims 2 a LOOOONG time ago. We can't find it anywhere in stores, and I DO have the seasons version (these are both computer games), but I didn't realize I needed The Sims 2 to play it!!!
I remember the day after that my dad was really nice and went out to look for it (unfortunately I was sick). But He kinda didn't tell me, and he also got a totally different one: Sims 2 Castaway for PS2... Don't ask me how he screwed up on that. But that was the same exact day Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out in North America... so if he had told me he was going out, I could've fullfilled a DREAM and got it the day it came out (I'm crazy for the series). I did get it the next Saturday, though. |

Mum got the PS2 version for me. And RE4 is not common here.

There is no way it's $15. It would be at least $100. |

Are video games that expensive in Australia or is your "dollar" a lot tinier than our "dollar?" _________________ Go Yankees! |

They're expensive, and our dollar is different to the US one.
All new Wii games are $100. 360 games are $110. PS3, I wouldn't have a clue. DS, about $80 or $70, depending on the game. PS2 games are the cheapest, because nearly everyone owns a PS2. |

Hurr, google says your dollar is actually bigger than ours by a little bit.
The thing with RE4 Wii is that it's not a new game. Totally new games here are like $60, but RE4 is seriously $15.
Aaand, I'm never moving to Australia. _________________ Go Yankees! |

Australia isn't as great as people think it is. I actually hate it here, but I can never move. But then again, this is about video games. I've seriously wasted my life on them... |
