I voted Rock, because I like almost all types of rock and metal.

I'm an old-school punk boy (Sex Pistols, The Ramones, etc.).
New punk sucks, especially things like MCR, and I personally do not care what you think about that statement.

That's agreeable. Though, if by rock you mean metal.
Yeah, very few rock
bands are more aggressive than fucking metalcore, thrash, death, or
black metal bands.

As for the second statement, that's a proven fact, here's my viewpoint [no flames please, PM me with any problems you have, just keep them off the forum for gods sake because I hate pages of flames going on and on]

Rappers though they can perform live all they need is a guy who can turn discs [I'm making it sound simple because I know they're stupid. The turntable they use is now an official INSTRUMENT, all it is is basically a record player they move the discs on.] themselves, and possible a drum machine.
Very few of these rappers have talent, (Dont care what you say RB/HIPHOP/RAP is all the same genre to me: SHIT), very few can really sing excluding Usher and Kanye West, though the voices really aren't the best either. Quick review, who has more talent?
Alan Jackson or 50-Cent, if you answered Jackson you'd be right
[Easy one] Kirk Hammet of Metallica or Eminem? [Kirk]
[VERY VERY EASY] Ville Valo or Soulja Boy [now this I must go into rant about again]

Ville Valo, singer and songwriter of H.I.M. has been with them since he was a teenager. He wrote his first song at fifteen due to a breakup. Now he's 31 and still writing, he has 15 song ideas for a new album [as of Nov. 07, so it's probably more]. So he's wrote a good 70-90 songs on his own, and done a good 10-20 covers [including Some Kinda Hate, Paranoid, Poison Heart, (Don't Fear) The Reaper, and Wicked Game] all pretty great.

As for Rappers in this situation, let me go into Vanilla Ice okay.....you know his song Ice Ice Baby? Well he completely stole that beat from Queen and David Bowie's Under Pressure, without asking or crediting them.
