Why are some pieces of art feautured longer than others? I sawa piece that went up and came down not long after whereas at the same time another which had been up a week or so before was still on display.

Sorry if that was hard to understand/is in teh wrong place/has been answered before..or all three =P

More often than not it's human error, I have to assume you are referring to the most resent incident where I accidentally featured not one but two ineligible works and immediately took them down. Just one of the many possible causes.

It's an old picture, and featured pictures are displayed on the front page according to submission date, so if this were feature-worthy material, it wouldn't show up on the main page, anyway.

All of those pictures you suggested were way too old. It has to be recently submitted ones that could be featured.
