hi, i want to improve my abilities, but nobody ever gives me serious feed back, and the rare few that do just say something really rude... so i was wondering if someone would be kind enough to give me a serious critique that is not rude and gets what im good at along with what i need to fix, it would be a big help because i really want to improve, thanks....

um... here are a few pictures i would like advice on oh, all my pictures except some of abstract start out as sketches in my journal... these images are a mix of digital and traditional... oh, im new to using colored pencils for details and such, but don't hold back Smile i could really use the advice, thanks again

I really don't see anything wrong with your art. But maybe you can work on your proportions/perspectives? The mew one is flawless with proportions/perspectives. (But the paw is in an odd angle.)

I really don't see much wrong with your art though. ^^

lol thanx ^^ yea, i noticed that a lot of what i draw is in the same pose all the time so i've been working on perspective, i'm not very good at human anatomy either and i've been working on that too. which ones do you think needed proportion help? the mew's arms are puny because that's how the actual cartoony mew is, i didn't want to change that Smile

All of your animal/creatures have really good proportions but the Siamese Lion's forearms are a little long. (Unless you were going for that since Siamese cats are very long and thin.)

As for human anatomy, it's just something you really need to practice. You can look through anatomy books to get ideas but I've really been paying attention to anatomy during the Olympics. Very Happy It's a great way to study anatomy.

i think olympics is good to see how people move Smile especially the gymnastics. it kind of shows how people are able to bend and helps to prevent drawing them in impossible positions, at least it does for me XD i was watching olympics yesterday. hmm the siamese lion, yea i guess his arms are a little long... he was one of the pictures i made while i was attempting to break away from my usual boring positions... drawing different positions is a bit tough for me, but i'm getting some what better at it.

I critiqued some, go check out the comments if you like. I hope I wasn't mean, because that was not how I meant it. Your art looks great to me though, keep up the good work.
