A Wacom "Bamboo Fun" is a good place to start, I believe the price runs about $100. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

I have this exact tablet and I love it. It's a little pricier but it comes with some programs and stuffs. I've had it for almost a year I think. Not complaints about it whatsoever. _________________ "And on the eigth day, Final Fantasy XI was made, and the Lord then said, "Thou shalt level thine subjob, lest the party cry 'n00b!1' and smite thee."" - CrystalOmega |

Although that one does look really nice, it may be a little pricey for me.
But if my mom and other family members go together to get me one for christmas, then maybe.

What about this one?
Is this one any good? _________________ "You can quote me on that." - Gray |

An Intuos would be too much for you, anime_slacker. Not just because of the price, but also because, as you have no experience with drawing tablets, you wouldn't be able to put all of its features to use anyway.
There isn't much difference between a Bamboo and a Bamboo-Fun. There's a roughly $20 difference in price tags, and the Bamboo Fun includes the same bundled software as other Wacom tablets (Photohsop Elements, Painter Essentials, etc.). _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

I just bought a Intuos3 6x11, but just to say.
Do not get a regular Bamboo, those are too
cheap. But maybe a Bamboo fun would be
good for you. |
