Problems with Yahoo! e-mail accounts

For the past week we have seen several reports by users with Yahoo! emails stating they are unable to use their FAC accounts because FAC is asking them to re-validate their e-mail addresses, in some cases multiple times.

As (briefly) mentioned in [url=http://forums.fanart-central.net/viewtopic.php?t=22734][u]this FAQ[/u][/url], if FAC receives an error from your mail service when trying to send you an e-mail notification, this may flag your entered e-mail address as non-valid, which in turn will require you to re-validate that you can receive mail from this address.

We do not know the cause of this problem.

We suspect Yahoo! may be actively working on their spam controls, but Yahoo! has not provided any information on the matter at this time.

Yahoo isn't replying to my contact request, but the problem seems to be solved. For the moment at least.
