The waist looks non existant. Try making that area broader. If you have a book on how to draw people at home/school/wherever, then use it. These are a most treasured source of wanting to learn how to draw people better. I have several at home and still need to use them from time to time.
Also, shading needs plenty of work. Make your dark tones real dark and lighter tones... lighter? Pressing harder on the pencil helps for dark/heavy tones, then use it lightly for lighter tones.

hey thx...the wasit looked bigger in real life ...and on the shading. my scanners light is extremely bright. the shading is really good on the actual copy of this picture. The light refelcts off the graphite on the darkest areas and makes them appear white. |
