How long does it take generally for a nib to wear down? Mine didn't come with replacements.
I've been using the first nib for over three years now. When I got it it was round and radially symmetrical and now it's kinda got a flat.. slant to it, like a non-mechanical pencil that almost needs sharpening. It'll probably be good for another year or two.. so I would say they last a long time. You can probably buy replacement nibs online should you need them. If you can't, I know you can definitely buy the entire pen online, and it's only ten bucks or so.
I also have a another question. Before I got the tablet I used a wireless mouse and once I installed the hardware of the tablet on my computer, my mouse doesn't function anymore even if the tablet is unplugged. What's up with that? I hate having to use the pen for a replacement for the mouse.
Dunno. I've used a regular mouse and a tablet at the same time before without problems and I don't have a wireless mouse (other than the one that came with the tablet) with me to see if anything weird happens. Eh. The pen is so much faster than a mouse. Once you get used to the pen, you'll probably have no use for the mouse anymore anyway. _________________ Go Yankees! |
