Hello everyone. I'm having a problem with FAC website. I've put this site in the trusted list, but somehow it still doesn't show the advertisement; therefore, after opening couple pages I receive and error message that says, I have the advertisements blocked. I've tried to look it up on the forum but couldn't find anything, maybe someone can give me heads up? I would really appriciate it. I have vista if that will help. Thank you really much. |

Check the adblockers in both your browser and your firewall. _________________ Go Yankees! |

Can I add to this?
This is why:
My AD blocker is actually built into the computer istself. I also have no access to the firewall on the computers because of that. Is there a way i can still use this site WITHOUT all the issue of "YOU MUST HAVE NO AD BLOCKER ON"?
I would appreciate that really much. Its a nice site, but its annoying when it screams at me cause the adblocker can't be shut off under my terms. |

My Ad blocker is the one that comes with Firefox, and my Firewall is clueless(well, I don't have access, so I dunno XD)
But i asked this amoung the people that can, and I can't have it shut off (without my neck slit...litterally)
so never mind on me. |

You can probably find out what your firewall is by looking around at the icons near your clock. Hover over them until you see one whose name sounds like a firewall, see: http://i39.tinypic.com/33f87wi.png
I think you can turn off your firefox ad blockers somewhere in tools > options, though I don't think that will help if there's absolutely no way you can get the firewall adblocker disabled. Let them know you only need the adblocker off, not the entire firewall. You could also probably add just this site to the adblocker exceptions, so it would still be on for the rest of the internet. _________________ Go Yankees! |

Firefox doesn't include ad-blockers by default. Check your Firefox's Add-ons (Tools > Add-ons... ). _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA
