Where are my pictures

I submited 2 pictres today but they do not show in a recent pictures category. You can only see it if you go on to my profile. I also sbmited a story but it does show. Help me!!! I want people to see my pictures!!!

Maybe your pictures were not approved yet by the AP. They seem to be slow now-a-days to approve things.

What are you talking about. Ever since we added Dark Angel it's been super speedy.

RubiTikotoTao, your pictures need to comply to site rules before they will show up on the site. Please fix what was wrong as indicated in the emails and resubmit.

Well all I hear lately is people complaining that their pictures are taking to long to be approved and I was just stating it here. I asked Denis if there were any new openings for AP members and he said no not yet. So hopefully there will be soon. Very Happy

It's taking a day or two at the most. Before it was not unusual for the wait to be a week.

You know on most sites asking for a staff position is a sure fire way to get rejected for it.

I only asked him once out of curiosity. I just saw two lined paper drawings slip through and you could clearly see the lines in the thumbnails. I would not allow that to go through like that.

But that's just me. Eh.

According to your log page, well -- firstly, don't assign content advisories just because they're available on the submissions form. I really hate that term (AA), it is such a misnomer. It just means that the pieces weren't queued for approval at all.

I've sometimes referred to it simply as "auto", but unfortunately the "auto-approval" is how it was originally labelled when denis built it, so it's partially ingrained by now.

Just so you know, I am in the approval panel quite a few times during a day, so there should be either a rejection or acceptance on the same day you submit a picture. But that's on a normal day.
