So, just curious about this: I just went to edit my profile, and saw this thing.

Language translations aren't as easy as you think. For one, you need someone actually fluent in said languages to do the translation, and just about every text message ever used by the site (error messages, etc.) as well as mainsite postings would also need translation. Additionally, you can't translate user submitted content (comments, journals, etc.) at all.

It has always been planned to have translations for at least the main navigation links and stuff, but it's a huge amount of work and there has never really been that much demand so it's not very high priority.
It may happen someday, but not in the next few versions. _________________ You will obey or molten silver will be poured into your ears. |
