Whats the deal with encyclopedia dramatica

I Just stumbled on the FAC page and it kinda pissed me off.
it sounded like a bunch of haters to me. the first thing they
were talking about was the quality of pictures. Art is subjective, what one
person likes another may not. One of the main things i like about FAC is
that their is a wide range of styles and skills levels on FAC. We all started
out as novices at art no matter your current skill level is.
They have a bunch of stuff about a user something kitten. Seemed like
more Hater stuff. But i kinda agree that people can be a little to sensitive to
criticism. But if people don't want to hear constructive criticism that
doesn't really bother me cause its their priority. anyway i was wondering
what people thought about this? (yeah im probably opening up a can of worms.)

I'd wager that half the people who use the term "constructive criticism" don't know what it even IS (and more importantly, what it is NOT).

I wouldn't believe anything you read on ED, they bash everything because they [i]can[/i].

Ok, i did not like not like the article.But to me it did not seem satirical or
even funny just some hater BS. I mean whats the point.....never mind

Yes exactly.

It's also an obvious parody of Wikipedia and an encyclopedia for web memes, usually ones that started in 4chan.

Most people who complain about ED [i]do[/i] end up being put in the article, like aquaeevee, who won the title, "FAC's Local Dumbass". They either get linked or screenshot'd.

There's sections on KinkyKitten and Falconlobo in there. But yeah this is a website that everyone may or may not like so don't take everything in that article (or ED for that matter) seriously. It's all for the LULz.

its just how i speak, part of what i grew
up with. its part of my family and friends
vernacular . grew up in the city, so did most of
my family. what should i have said?.....trolls
not really my style. i would not say that
talking to people i know outside of the forums
