They should just make Xbox Live free...I'm tired of paying for things that aren't worth it.

on a side note...

I dropped 100 bucks on that shitty wireless network adapter.

I had to pay for the hard drive too which ALSO was 100 bucks.

Then the wired controllers are more shitty than anything..the cord usually just fuckin rips and the wires start to come out...

I'm tired of spending money on xbox live..they can at least give it's users a break..seeing as though we have other things to buy too.

Lets not forget this.

I do.

There are also casual games (Peggle, etc) and puzzle games (like world of goo).

But about all consoles give you is FPS, racing, JRPG, and platformers.

Console has action games (IE, DMC, GoW, NG), as well as Armored Core, and jRPGs.

That's pretty much all I play.

It's coming to xbox too, but the xbox version is bound to be pretty crippled, there just aren't enough buttons to play it properly. If the previous games in the series are any indication, it'll take the whole keyboard to play.

Your "action" games are just FPS games with melee. And there are plenty available for PC: Assassin's Creed, Mirror's Edge, Devil May Cry4, etc.

Armored Core specifically is console exclusive, since From Software does not do PC games. Mirror's Edge is a platformer, Assasin's Creed is a platformer for the most part, with short action elements. The only legitimate action game you mentioned is DMC4.

PC is fine, but is not as amazing and glorious as PCfags would have people believe. It is completely unsopported by several key developers (Sega, From Software, Namco, Partially Capcom), and runs into several issues with regular upgrades.

PC is shit for me personally, becuase it does not get most of the games I care about. If I'm not mistaken, Bayonetta is not coming to PC, and Capcom almost ALWAYS shafts the PC release dates to 6 months after the consoles.

work at a gamestop, it'll make all that peripheral/add-on shit muuuuuch cheaper. i got all i needed for around 250, give or take. halo elite core, 20gb hdd, though i'd feel a lot better with 60gb or something... granted, i mostly skip out on gold live (unless i can scrounge up a prepaid card for free somewhere), don't have any use for mspoints yet, my internet's all wired (sadly) so a network adapter would be useless in my house but...

basically, i got the bare essentials. maybe i shouldn't talk...

also: though rrod and e74 be damned, for the 16-19 buck warranty p/year i maintain, i don't really have to worry about shelling out over 200 bucks on a replacement system again, unless i absolutely need to. i'm a broke bitch, ohhh. gotta cut corners when i caaaan~
